Alex Flanagan

She graduated from at the University of Arizona, and Salpointe Catholic High School. Her experience includes working for on the NFL Network, as an anchor/reporter. As for NBC Sports she is a reporter at the sidelines of the Notre Dame Football home matches and Football Night in America. Flanagan hosts a weekly update on Madden 10 and Madden 11 alongside Fran. Alex comes from Sonoita in Arizona. Kevin Flanagan is the former University of Arizona Basketball player she was married to. Both are parents of daughters. Alex's dad owns two Arizona steakhouses, The Steak Out (located at Sonoita) and Dove Mountain. Flanagan began her journalism career at the age of 18, working as an intern for KVOA-TV. The reporter began covering sports in 1998. She worked as a reporter and anchor at NBC Sports as well as NFL Network, ESPN and Fox Sports. Additionally, she was a member in the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. After graduation Flanagan secured her first TV position as an assignment-based news reporter as well as a weekend anchor for KCCO-TV located in Alexandria, Minnesota.
