Bellamy Young

Young first began her acting career as a theatre actor. In 1997 she had her Broadway debut in the role of Mary in the first cast of The Life. In addition, she has been seen off Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's show Merrily We Roll Along (1994) as well as Randy Newman's Faust (1995-1996). [3][10] In 1995, she made her TV debut with a role on"the" NBC daytime soap the show Another World as Dr. Courtney Evans. [7] She guest-starred in the show Law & Order in 1997 as well as 1998 in two role. In film, she made her debut in 1999, with an uncredited role on Black and White. In the subsequent years she appeared in a variety of independent films. She began guest-starring in television dramas and comedies in the early 2000s. They comprised The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. From 2000 to 2011 Young appeared in more than 30 guest appearances on television shows. Young was the main cast member of the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. Peacemakers was pulled after a season with nine episodes. The actress played recurring roles on the Lifetime legal drama series For the People as Deputy Dist. Atty. Agnes Hunt, NBC's Scrubs in the role of the character Dr. Grace Miller, NBC's Scrubs in the role of Monica West (CSI: Miami 2005-2006) in ABC's Dirty Sexy Money, as Ellen Darling (the eldest in-law daughter of the Darlings) and CBS's CSI: Miami, as Monica West (assistant state attorney).
