Swallow began her Broadway career by performing in various shows, such as High Fidelity at the Guthrie Theater as well as King Lear for Shakespeare in the Park. Additionally, she was on stage in Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park and the world premiere of the Off-Broadway productions Romantic Poetry, Measure for Pleasure. In 2008, Swallow made her debut in film in the military drama The Lucky Ones. Swallow was a co-star with Mark Rylance at the Guthrie Theatre in Louis Jenkins' play Nice Fish. The show built around the humor of misadventures as the duo navigates different life situations with varying level of sanity. The series is in the process of being made based on the two characters. It is important to note that in 2013, she worked with Mark Rylance on a world premiere of Nice Fish, at the Guthrie Theater. In the year 2016, Center Theatre Group cast the actress as Ayad Akhtar Disgraced. Swallow played her first part on television in Guiding Light. Later, she appeared on Southland. Ringer. The Good Wife. NCIS. Flight of the Conchords. Medium. Also, as Dr. Michelle Robidaux, the show's regular on Monday Mornings. [1] She had an important role in The Mentalist as FBI agent Kim Fischer. The role was given to Amara "the Darkness" in 2015's eleventh Supernatural season. She is set to play the Armorer from 2019 on as part of The Mandalorian, a Star Wars television series.
