Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most famous role is as anchorwoman of CNN's morning show At This Hour. Bolduan was previously a cohost of the CNN morning programs on weekdays, New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a part of CNN's coverage of both the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. She has also served as a correspondent for Congress based at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan's reporting on congressional activities and events during her time as an official of the Capitol Hill Unit included the discussion to increase the debt ceiling for the US, as well as discussions by the super-committee. The work she has done for her general assignments included reporting on The Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. In 2007 she was hired by CNN as a correspondent for the national with CNN Newsource.
