Summer glau

Firefly The Firefly, the new hit Whedon series, came out of a one-off show. The character of Summer Glau, River Tam, was a complex character that Glau handled with ease. Tam is forced to participate in government-sponsored experiments that prepare her to be the greatest assassin. Tam's ability to control emotions is taken from her. Glau got the chance to showcase not just her acting abilities but also her skills as a combat ace in Firefly. Glau's fighting skills were developed through her studies to become an"Assassin. Summer Glau is a classically educated ballerina. She's also trained in Flamenco and Tango, however a broken foot put an end to her dancing career. Firefly had only one episode but it became a massive success. Whedon was so passionate about the show that he was able to return back to the show several years afterward.
