Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1960) is an American author, and an ex-legal analyst at Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor of law at New York Law School, previously an associate professor at the University of Washington Law School. She's been a legal analyst on National Public Radio's show as well as Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She appeared regularly for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. She was born in Yakima. She completed her studies at Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree at the age of 33 in. In 1985, she was awarded the Master of Arts Degree in Literature at the University of Queensland. And in 1987, she received a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl served as a US attorney. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues on NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "the deputy chief investigative counsel for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." Between 1995 and 2001, she was an adjunct professor of law at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle and was in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. From 2001 to the year 2017 Wiehl was an attorney analyst at Fox News.
